It looks that if you have the 19hp kawasaki FH601V, you can upgrade to 21, 23, or 25 hp by simply replacing this carburetor shaft, with the exception on the 25hp you will need the oil cooler#, the o-ring#, the joint#, and the valve-assy.#.

- I have a Kawasaki 19 hp fh601v motor on a scag zero turn. This motor will start up run absolutely perfect for about 20 minutes then it starts acting up like its not getting enough gas. I checked for 12v to plunger to make sure its staying constant I checked and replaced fuel filter, lines, pump (which I had) I have checked both cylinders for.

Hi I have a 2007 Wright Stander with a Kawasaki FH601V Engine.
I just purchased the mower from a previous landscaper,
He had told me that the oil leak was not bad, but it is..
The Kawasaki Motor is leaking Oil directly from behind the throttle plate.
I know its hard to see in the picture, but its leaking out of the metal round shaft that is coming out of the crank case, which is attached to a spring that goes to the carb..
anyone have any idea how hard this is to fix? I think its an O ring? I have never seen this problem before.
I took the top engine shroud off and there is no oil leaking from the top of the engine. just from this shaft??? any help??? Thanks in advance!!
This picture shows where the oil is dripping from. Its dripping from the dark thing at the top of the pic. FYI this is a pic of behind the throttle plate on the front of the engine.
